Reviewing with Block 2

October 24th, our class took the RSS Discovery Education Benchmark! After analyzing our data, we began reviewing goals that will help us become successful on our next Benchmark.

Students in Block 2 worked in groups while reviewing the review for our Algebra Goal. Each group sent a representative to the board to explain their answer to the class.

It was so amazing seeing my students engaged in wanting to learn from their mistakes.

Afterwards, you know we had to play a game of Kahoot. And guess who won....Juliana Peele!!!!

Using Go Animate to Learn Vocabulary

Problem Based Learning

Since we have had our new technology, we have be really busy learning through the Flipped Classroom model and creating projects using what we have learned.

This week 1st Block completed a Linear Functions Problem Based Learning Activity on Cell Phone Plans.

Since the iPhone 6 came out on September 19th, we wanted to see which plan was best between a few companies.

In the project, students created tables, graphs, and equations to see determine which company would be better after 2 years.

Students then complied their information together and created presentations to show their results.
